Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I, in the midst of them…

Our vocation as Vincentians exemplifies our Christian call to service. Spirituality is an essential element in our Vincentian outreach, our actions, our words, and when we gather to share our Vincentian work.

The desire to help persons in need is what calls the Vincentian volunteer to the Society. Vincentians view our service as a way of acting on their faith and responding to God’s call to love God and our Neighbour. The Spirituality Committee developed a program to assist Conferences and Councils in identifying Spiritual Facilitators and supporting them in their role. Our previous Spiritual Advisor, Monsignor Bianco, inspired us to develop a series of readings and discussion questions that link directly to the Society’s outreach and the important work Vincentians undertake. Members are encouraged to implement the readings and discussions at their meetings, to further learn and grow in our mission of charity.
