Durham Application Instructions

Durham Region Police Check Application is available online at https://members.drps.ca/PRCOnline/default.aspx, select for volunteers.

A Form Letter to be signed by the Conference President needs to be uploaded for acceptance of the application when filling the form online.  Please ensure you select the Vulnerable Section application.

Halton Police Check Application is available online at https://www.policesolutions.ca/checks/services/halton/index.php?page=vsc

Peel Police Check Application has been revised and can be done online at https://www.peelpolice.ca/en/services/record-checks-and-suspensions-pardons.aspx?_mid_=2080.

Toronto Police Check Instructions

Application is available online at Police Record Checks- Toronto Police Service (tps.ca).

Note:  There is the possibility that certain applicants will be flagged for review based mainly on their date of birth matching someone in the RCMP reference database.  In this case the applicant will get a letter from Toronto Police Services indicating that to proceed with the police clearance they will need to complete an additional release form, pay a processing fee, and provide fingerprints.  When the RCMP check is completed, the Toronto police will return the original form to the applicant, either with a no-findings result or with the findings, as the procedure above indicates.  Form Letter to take if asked for fingerprints, to be completed by the president confirming membership of the applicant.

York Police Check Application is available online at https://event.yrp.ca/OnlineClearance/VSC_Main.aspx.

A Form Letter to be signed by the Conference President needs to be shown when the police check is going to be picked up.
