Camp
Ozanam
Camp Ozanam is a
residential camp situated at a Scouts Canada campsite in
Stouffville,
Ontario.
Open to eligible boys ages 7 – 12, Camp Ozanam provides a 7
day camping experience, in the month of August, for children
who may not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy a
camping adventure.
Families who are experiencing financial or domestic
hardship may contact the Society to determine their
eligibility.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Toronto Central Council,
helps over 600 boys each summer, registering eligible
campers through home visits.
Each camper’s holiday is fully subsidized through the
generous annual support of Catholic Charities
What’s activities do campers
participate in?
Campers participate in a full range of activities, including
swimming, camp crafts, ball hockey, archery, hiking, biking,
tenting, frisbee, golf, volleyball, high ropes course,
obstacle course challenge and camp fires.

If your child is registered
the following is the information on where to take and pick
them up:
Toronto Area Campers traveling by bus
Campers traveling
to Camp Ozanam from the Toronto area by bus are picked up
and dropped off at
Our Lady of Assumption Church,
2565 Bathurst Street (Bathurst and Eglinton)
(north
of Eglinton Avenue)
Registration
Time – 2:30 pm – over 130 children register, please
allow time
**Departure
Time – 3:00 pm
Return Time
– 10:00 am
**At the time of
departure, you must register the name of the person who will
be picking your child up at the end of the session
No parking in lot at back of Church
Please use the parking lot at the side of the church
Traveling by
Public Transit to Our Lady of Assumption:
Take the Bloor
Subway to Bathurst Street
Take any #7
Bathurst bus north to
Roselawn (1 stop
past Eglinton).
Walk north 1
block.
Barrie
Area Campers traveling by bus
Campers traveling
to Camp Ozanam from the Barrie area by bus are picked up and
dropped off at
St. John Vianney Church,
13 Baldwin Lane (Essa Rd and Innisfil St.)
**Departure Time
– 3:00 pm – please arrive at 2:30 pm to register.
Return Time –
10:00 am

You will be met
in the main parking lot, immediately off of Kennedy Road.
Directions:
Camp Ozanam
operates from the Scouts Canada Woodland Trails site on
Kennedy Road just south of Aurora Sideroad. Take Highway
404 to Aurora Sideroad. Go east about 5 minutes to Kennedy
Road, then go south for about two minutes to Woodland Trails
– look to the east.
